More than twenty years ago, this place became home – and somewhere along the way, it stopped being a country I lived in and started being a country I belonged to.
After two decades here, I wanted to create something that captured that feeling – the pride, the warmth, the identity of a place that means something to so many people from so many different backgrounds.
That’s why I started Khaleejna Merchandise.
I’ve watched this region transform. Celebrated National Day with neighbours from a dozen different nations. Driven through stretches of empty desert that have since become skylines. Built a life in a culture that welcomes people without asking them to give up who they are.
That’s the thing about the UAE. It has a way of getting under your skin.
Khaleejna — خليجنا — means “Our Gulf.”
Not my Gulf. Not your Gulf. Ours.
That word says everything about what this brand is. It’s for the Emirati who grew up here and wears their culture with pride. It’s for the expat who moved here for a year and never left. It’s for the tourist who visited and couldn’t stop thinking about it. It’s for anyone who’s ever felt that the Gulf is a part of them.
